On June 29th -30th I hiked the PCT to Paradise Lake in the beautiful Northern Sierras. Paradise Lake is located several miles north of Castle Peak. The trailhead is located near Truckee, CA near the Boreal ski resort parking lot. The trip is about 16 miles or so out and back. A couple of years ago Susanna and I hiked the trip together. While, I missed having her along for the fun this time my dad and an old friend (Karl) enjoyed the trail and the lake's beauty with me.

Ahhh...Paradise Lake. Too bad I couldn't run and jump in the lake with you this time. Such a beautiful spot. I'm glad you got to go though. :)
