Here is some video footage from my most recent trip into the White Clouds. The video footage was filmed by Jeff. It's a little shaky, but fun.

White Cloud Peaks Loop 2008
Last summer Susanna and I hiked about 28 miles amongst the White Cloud Peaks of Central Idaho. These beautiful mounatains met all our expectations and then some. The White Clouds provide the avid hiker and backpacker with scenic beauty, some challenging terrain, and fairly good fishing. Last week (Aug. 27th – 30th) I was privileged enough to repeat this spectacular trip with two guys from church (Adam and Jeff). Together, we repeated the loop that Susanna and I completed last year. We spent the first night in the Chamberlain Basin, the second night at Lodgepole Lake (one of the Boulder Chain Lakes), and the third night at Quiet Lake. Quiet Lake remains my favorite lake amongst the White Clouds. Equally inspiring and exhilarating is the climb out of Quiet Lake into Four Lakes Basin, and then down into the Born Lakes. Below I’ve included a map and some pictures of our trip. Enjoy!
